SEATS FOR SERVICE MEMBERS

In the spring of 2008, the Providence Performing Arts Center initiated a pilot program with the Rhode Island National Guard to fund (through its existing Annual Fund Community Outreach dollars) and provide preferred orchestra seats to Rhode Island service members for Broadway, Family Fun, and Contemporary Classics shows.

To continue this program, PPAC has reached out to the local community to identify potential sponsors and underwriters for the Seats for Service Members program; 100% of sponsorship dollars will be applied to purchase tickets for service members and their families.

Presently, there are over 5,000 Rhode Island residents who are involved in protecting our country; we hope this program will let them know how much their sacrifices are appreciated.
